Associate Research & Teaching Fellow at University of Exeter

What attracted you to studying with IDCORE?

Gaining industrial experience whilst doing research and the opportunity to work on research that would influence the industry immediately rather than a purely academic project.

What attracted you to offshore renewables industry?/ What aspects of the industry do you find most inspiring, interesting or important for the future?

It is still an industry in its infancy and as a researcher at this point in the industry I can help shape it.

Main responsibilities and challenges as a Research Engineer

Biggest challenge is balancing interesting areas of research with something that is relevant for the industry.

What is your biggest achievement to date?

Having a paper accepted for publication.

What ambition would you like to fulfil as a Research Engineer?

Contributing something to the scientific community
